This Viking jacket is made with a stylish basic design. That black material is heavy-duty 300 denier Trilobal ripstop polyester fabric. Ripstop polyester stops tears when they begin. The fabric even has a polyurethane backing. The rubber-like PU keeps the design more resistant to punctures, rips, abrasions and snags.
This flame-resistant jacket is tested in accordance with test method CAN/CGSB-4.2 No.27.10 & ASTM D6413 flame resistance, self-extinguishing for momentary contact with open flame. That's scientific stuff that means this high-visibility jacket guards you from heat and flame that may melt, scorch, or burn your clothing. Even the inner lining of this work jacket is flame-resistant.
To make the design safer, it`s finished with high-visibility striping. The 2-inch silver reflective bands are set on 4-inch fluorescent yellow stripes. This lights you up even in low-visibility conditions. The heavy-duty zipper of this black jacket is protected with a storm flap. Front and back vents give you plenty of moving room. And the Velcro wrists are adjustable to create a snug fit.
